Gel Overlays (Builder/Rubber Base)
- What it is: A flexible gel applied directly to the natural nail to reinforce it.
- Best for: People who want to grow their own natural nails, prefer a lightweight, natural look, and value flexibility.
- Removal: Soak-off or gentle file-off using e-file.
Acrylic Extensions
- What it is: A liquid monomer and powder polymer mix that hardens into a rigid shell. Usually used to add significant length via nail tips.
- Best for: Clients wanting extreme length or dramatic 3D shapes who have naturally strong nail roots.
- Removal: Needs acetone soaking which can dry out nail beds if overused.
We generally recommend structured gel overlays for long-term nail health, as they minimize chemical exposure and move naturally with your fingers.
